It may not be common knowledge, but apart from the video games ratings, part of the testing that electronic has to go through is related to epilepsy and other seizure-inducing medical problems.  Naturally, if a video game cannot pass these tests then it is deemed to not be suitable for general sale.  You may have noticed that all of your video games carry this warning ? yet they are fine to be on sale.  I?m not sure how they are rated, but there must be a threshold limit.  Unfortunately, WipEout HD did not meet the threshold limit.

As it was absent from Sony?s E3 conference, this naturally got tongues wagging.  What did it mean?  Well sadly in this case it meant that Sony?s eagerly awaited futuristic PS3 racer was set to be delayed.  In this case, the delay was due to the necessity of re-engineering the game in order for it to meet the requirements that made it safe to pass the stringent testing required.

Unfortunately, no further details (such as pricing or when the game will now be released) were available at the present.
